Lines 1--6
I walked along as aimlessly as a piece of cloud that floats on over vales and hills; suddenly I saw a huge number of golden daffodils besides the lake; under the trees (by the lake) these daffodils were moved by the wind. It seemed that they were dancing and making sounds.

Lines 7--12
The daffodils were spread over along the margin of a bay as endlessly as the twinkling stars on the milky way. I saw ten thousand of them at a glance. They were tossing their heads happily while dancing.

Lines 13--18
The waves besides the daffodils also danced. But the daffodils defeated the waves in joyous dancing. A poet could not remain unhappy among such cheerful companions. I keept on looking on them them for a long time without knowing that the show would be a great source of joy in future.

Lines 19--24
Because whenever I lie down on my couch in a pensive mood, that show flashes on my inner eye which is the bliss of solitude; and the scene makes me happy and my heart dances with the daffodils.
